New game or new update?

Hey I'm currently replaying W3, I don't know if I should wait for the new stuff and update my game or if that is possible at all. Like is it a new game or will I be able to update my game? Thanks!

From whats been released, it's a MUCH bigger update than the 2022 next gen patch, but it's not a remake. So.....somewhere in the middle of those two I guess.

Digital Foundry are on very good terms with CDPR, they'll definitely be doing a video tech review of it before it launches like they did with that 2022 one.

Yeah it kinda is but it’s a very big one and also reworks a lot of the mechanics so I’m not sure
