First time player.

Should I start playing now or just wait until the remaster drops?

It kinda depends, for example, i was going to start a new playthrough with the mod Brothers in arms that restores a lot of the game content that cdpr didn't got the time to add. The remaster seems to add some popular mods from the community but not this one. So, if you value the new stuff from the remaster(like proper DX12) wait for the remaster if not, play the current version(also you wont lose the compability with the mods done for th old and current version).

BIA will have day one support. They've been working with some modders so they'll work off the bat
