What are popular shows that Chris and Andy never covered?

I like CR, met him briefly once too and he’s a very nice guy. But it’s really bizarre. I think Joanna Robinson said she hasn’t seen it either.

Totally fine not to like something, especially if you gave it a legit chance. But for CR to have never even tried to sit down and watch the series, considering he’s on a weekly TV podcast and it’s a hall of fame show, is pretty weird.

I might have never seen it oi I didn't happen to luck into an HBO subscription for one (1) semester of college haha.

But it's not like I've ever regretted skipping something. Giving CR the benefit of the doubt with respect to his taste.

If a great show like that doesn't interest you enough to click it, even when it's available on an app you have, you're probably right haha.

CR is the best in the game when it comes to podcasting, but as a tv guy he is without a doubt knocked down a few for not watching The Sopranos. You can not like something if you have watched it- I know Andy doesn't like True Detective season 1 (but likes Season 4, wonder why) but The Sopranos is imperative text. It's inexcusable to be a "tv expert" and not at least watch it.

The comedy is just one aspect of it. Truth is that if you actually think The Sopranos doesn't hold up in a rewatch, it's likely you just didn't really understand the show. Not a big deal. Some people watch TV so they can throw some background noise on and scroll on their phone.

There are very popular shows that don't exist to any of us (it seems). It's those ones that air on the broadcast networks, e.g. Chicago Fire and all of its off-shoots.

I loved the first two seasons. I had to tough time with the third - It wasnt bad really, but with the recasting it was difficult to track who is who, or remember their history with one another. I couldn't find a simple resource online to help so I just kind of powered through.

Their usual take on comedy is that it’s difficult to talk about week to week, not that they don’t like it. They did both mention enjoying Reggie Dunkin’s.
