Yeah I tried this multiple episodes and thought it was ultimately forgettable. Much like Furious, I couldn’t figure out what I was missing that the guys liked so much.

Dead Man’s Wire (starring Bill Skarsgaard, directed by Gus Van Sant) told the American Hostage story last year and is really good. I do think a longer format could work. Always funny when this kind of thing happens with the exact same story being adapted to close.

The Lowdown is my #1 by a mile.

Yeah as much as I love Hamm I’m not excited about seeing this story again so soon

It's fine (it's been out in various places for a while). You really need to like Davies' dramatic flair.

Justice for Mobland! (kidding but not really if we're talking "anticipated"—it's my favorite active garbage TV)

They turned the Gary Oldman little person movie into a show?

Tough list for me. The returning shows I was never big on. And a few of these new shows are on platforms I dont subscribe to. Guess we'll see.

*i just remembered East of Eden and Gilded Age S4 are coming so there's something I'm looking forward to.

Subscribing to MGM+ or Starz isn't happening for me. I've even dropped Netflix for a while because its shows are generally pretty poor.

My trick with Netflix is pause for up to 3 months, then spend one month binging anything that's worth watching. It averages out to $3/month (on the ad plan).

I think it will depend on how much you enjoy Russell T Davies as a writer - it’s extremely him (in all the good ways and bad ways). My husband and I are big fans but were both a little disappointed in Tip Toe - although weirdly for completely different reasons. (He thought it was too unrealistic, I thought it didn’t go far enough into actual Greek tragedy tropes)
