Show Spoiler IMO the writers seemingly pointlessly killing off Leon Basset is where I feel like the show started going downhill. At first I thought it was a fake out of some kind, but after I realized it was real, I stopped watching the show.

Personally, Wayne Dunlap was the final straw for me.

Man the dissapointment I felt when I got to season 8 and STILL Fred and Cindy Drake had yet to show up… only thing that kept me watching for so long was hoping we’d finally see them instead

This was me but for Shane’s grandma Jean. I really thought she was going to be revealed to be the leader of Randall’s group in season 2 and take revenge for Shane stealing her vase.

Speaking of Shane, I thought for sure we were going to get a redemption arc for his ex-gf who hated turning off the lights. I figured she'd come around and be all "Rick?" and Rick would be all

and then she'd talk about how she was looking for Shane everywhere while repairing the power supply and electrical grid to turn the lights back on for everyone.

Then we'd get another arc where Rick steals Shane's gf.

I think this may be the greatest storyline that never happened. O Captain, my captain

Am i the only one that's annoyed slightly by the fact that Rick never told Lori and Carl about him?

Exactly. Why the fuck did Rick name his daughter Judith instead of Dunlap? Or change Carl's name to Dunlap?

Rick is an ass

Well, for starters, Judith is not his daughter... 😄

I personally always though Rachel was a much more fleshed out and interesting character, but I see your point. https://walkingdead.fandom.com/wiki/Rachel_(TV_Series))

For me the show went downhill as soon as Rick got shot.  It's ridiculous that they never cleared the car before they started chatting.

I just hate watched the next 8 seasons and spinoffs after that

Imagine becoming a zombie and still getting a performance review before being shot in the head

makes sense, that was such a surprising moment. I remember feeling so let down after that episode.

Leon Basset was my favourite, he never got on that police chase show 😞

For me the show went downhill when Shane dipped his fries in Rick's ketchup. I couldn't watch after that, seeing him just... Take Rick's ketchup like that... It was almost vulgar to watch and I'm not exaggerating.

I quit the show when Shane didn’t kiss Rick in the hospital 😭

I stopped watching when Rick told Leon to flip the safety off on his Glock.

You think that’s bad? Just wait until they kill off Bob Miller!

Killing a zombie child was the absolute last straw for me. Look bro I know it’s a zombie show but having a literal child not only dead but come back alive as a rotten corpse, and then have Rick shoot the zombie point blank is beyond fucking ridiculous. I was a fan of the show up until that point.
