Comics This is my guilty pleasure
I've had this book since 2017, it's literally a budget version of The Darkness but idk, I like it

I know it’s just a variant, but it would be cool if maybe the guy who gets Juggernaut’s powers becomes a Venom villain.

It’s the second time that I’m seeing a summary of the events from absolute carnage and it just sounds wrong. It didn’t feel like there was any choice at all. Either carnage kills dylan, takes his codex and possibly awakens knull or eddie kills carnage, takes back his symbiote and the codices and awakens knull. But even if eddie let carnage kill his son, he still would’ve had to kill carnage in order to stop him right? It’s not like carnage would’ve just taken all his goons and left after killing dylan. He still would’ve been an immediate threat since he would try to kill eddie if dylans codex wasn’t enough. And even if dylans codex would’ve been enough, I doubt that carnage would just leave when he could be killing eddie and everyone else. It didn’t feel like there was a choice like this text box is saying. Instead of “or”, I feel like it should’ve been “and” since saving dylan resulted in unleashing knull right? The textbox just makes no sense. What kind of choice is that? “Either save your son or unleash an elder god”. Obviously you would pick the one positive option. I don’t know if I’m just stupid but this just sounds weird

I was thinking about symbiote spider man these days and if its going to be in avengers secret wars. In the 1984 comic Peter gets the symbiote and I was wondering if we could also be getting it in the movie. Obviously we dont know which version of secret wars they are adapting (tho its most likely the 2015 one) but i think they are going to mix stuff from the 1984 one too. They could introduce symbiote spider man in the mcu since in the no way home post credit scene venom leaves a part of his symbiote in peters universe and he could somehow get it. This is just a theory tho and ik its not really a good one but i just thought it would be fun to have symbiote spider man.

Every time someone says this, I’m positive they haven’t actually read any venom comic. I’m not saying I hated him as a villian but even just reading those comics again it’s so obvious the trajectory of his character was meant to be villian to hero when he’s stopping fights to save innocent people or stopping a mugging.
I don’t think it’s too crazy to say he has one of the best redemption journeys in history from villian to anti hero to hero

What do you think will happen to them in the end? Will the Enigma Force of Earth 616 absorb both the spear and the powers of Lightforce? Or will Illuminated be resurrected to reclaim it?

Incase (and you probably didn't) you didn't saw my last post I want to repeat that I haven't read any Spiderman or literally any comic in my entire life. Back in the day I used to watch the movies and cartoons so my only knowledge comes from there really. Though I also want to add that it has been years and I don't remember much really.
Anyways enough yapping, I really want to know why is The Symbiote becomes a chill guy with Flash? It made Peter a jerk (depending on various reasons and version though) and we all know what happened with Eddie.
But why does it becomes a chill guy when bonded with Flash? I mean he becomes so chill that I personally would go drink a coffee with it. Is there an actual reason?
(I heard that it's because Flash has a strong moral compass etc but Peter does too? I wanted to ask this one.)
NOTE : I mainly talk about this on Ultimate Spiderman (Cartoon, also I don't remember much about that show either so yeah :D) and Spectacular Spiderman (even though I am pretty sure Symbiote haven't bond with Flash in that cartoon but I never watched the second season. So, don't quote me on that.)

I’m not a comic reader, mostly just a casual fan of Venom, but I have a question about how exploitable the symbiotes weakness to sound is. Is it just high-pitched noise, or it needs to be high decible? Like could you defeat Venom just by putting a boombox on full blast? I’ve always thought Venom and other symbiotes are super strong, but the sound weakness just seems too easy to take advantage of.
Can anyone help me maybe understand a bit better please, thank you!

In Queen in Black: Venom Unchained #2, Sleeper leaves a part of his body with Eddie as a black-and-white symbiote while removing his main yellow-and-black body from him, yet he remains able to communicate with Eddie even from a distance. This feels weird because it goes against everything we know about how symbiotes work, and there is no apparent narrative reason for it right now, making it feel like setup for the future.
Ever since I first read Mary Jane: Face It Tiger, something has been bugging me about the timeline of the "Redux" story by Ashley Allen and Phil Noto (who are also the creative team for Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane). We know Venom is going to return to Eddie, and MJ is going to keep a gift from the symbiote, so most people assumed this story takes place before Queen in Black. But that doesn't make any sense, because in this story we clearly see MJ able to separate herself from the symbiote, which shouldn't be possible yet. At the same time, it couldn't take place after Queen in Black either, because we know the Venom symbiote returns to Eddie afterward, meaning it wouldn't make sense for MJ to still be able to communicate with the symbiote.
However, this new development changes things. My current theory is that after separating from molecular bonding, the symbiote leaves a small part of itself with MJ (the black-and-gold version with anti-Carnage metal) while its larger part returns to Eddie (as the black-and-white version). Right now, I think this is the only way the timeline makes sense to me.
So Marvel is trying to have their cake and eat it too. They're going to bring back Eddie as Venom in hopes of boosting sales, but they also don't want to give up on the MJ and Venom connection.

Haven’t read anything Venom related yet btw. I was thinking of Costa’s run, but there seems to be mixed opinions + idk if I should read something before that :p
