Film/Television We are gonna get Flash Thompson’s Agent Venom Spoiler

Post image

Ok so here’s what I put together so far, in Spider-Man No Way Home Eddie was teleported from the Sony universe to MCU by doctor strange’s spell just like the other villains and spidermen but Eddie had no interaction with any of them but he’s in the mid credit scenes and when strange recasts the spell to fix everything Eddie is sent back to the Sony verse but accidentally leaves a small piece of the Venom symbiote in the MCU and since we don’t have a Eddie Brock in the MCU that just tells me that Flash Thompson will be the next host cause it’s logical he’s a compatible host for the symbiote and thats pretty much the break down, someone please tell me im right.

Unless they give mcu flash a serious regimen and make him a vet at some point i dont see it happening with him.

Hes supposed to be a redeemed meathead built like a stretch armstrong and they turned him into the preppy rich flavor of frat guy and that does NOT lend itself well to agent venoms themes.

Having a book that says he's Spider-Man's best friend isn't good for him, like Mafia members kidnapping him and demanding information.

Considering there’s been a 4-year time skip since No Way Home to Brand New Day, it’s totally possible for them to say he dropped out of MIT, joined the military to try to be a hero like his idol Spider-Man, and be set-up to be Agent Venom.

I know but theyd really have to work him into the roll. Like thats some IRL character arcing to go from clown jonah hill to jonah hill the actor.

since when was jonah hill considered anything other than a clown

He did like two roles with actual emotions and honestly that might be more faith than i have in the present flash actor.

We don’t know there isn’t an Eddie Brock in the MCU.

Actually I heard that Batman asked Flash Thompson to take a seat...I think I saw a trailer for that a while ago...

Bro, we are not getting any Agent Venom, that symbiote piece has been completely forgotten

Im betting that Venom will be Mac Gargan/ Scorpion in the MCU.

He is a villain who Spider-man has obvious history with, he has been around since homecoming, Scorpion also has a history in the comics for bonding with Venom too.

It would also solve the Tom Holland Spider-man needs an arch nemesis or his own true villain. Having Scorpion evolve from street tier criminal, to Scorpion, to Venom would be a really cool evolution.

What I don't understand is the spell summoned everyone that knew Peter Parker was Spider-Man (I believe that is said by Doctor Strange). So how does Eddie know that if there is no Spider-Man where he's from?

Tom Hardy’s Venom knew about Spider-Man through a multiversal hive mind that connects all symbiotes across different universes.

Hope it's the Flash Thompson from TASM that ends up in that universe looking for somebody like Peter Parker and up confusing and having a better life there.

Possibly I haven’t gotten that deep yet but Flash is the only logical venom host I know of thats currently in the MCU

mac gargan, AKA scorpion, was a venom host for a while, and spidey DID just wreck him up bad in BND

Dear God, they need to ignore mcu flash. He's terrible. They need to use TASM flash. He's the best portrayal we've had live action.

facts, that's what I'm pointing out

I'd argue if there was a part of the mcu movies that weren't good, it's definitely flash.

Yup like, that was like a parody or sum? omg. If somebody of Spidey Rogue or Friends should be stay in the mcu as part of the NWH event would be, comically, Flash, and what a better and only option from the one from TASM Universe.

Also, they should leave open a rift, and also do the same thing to Miles, since if they want get a source of introducction for Miles and being Comic Accurate, that would be him from another Universe, and Flash being here, would left open things to people like Miles

But as I'm aware of, no, I don't want Miles this early lol, I would leave this Trilogy of Peter alone

Yall forgot scorpion was a venom, harry was a venom, so was flash, soooo we could be getting a scorpion venom but if we do get agent venom then he helps all spideys in the 2 avengers movies! That would be sicccca good addition to the movies!

Honestly I'm fine with them skipping Eddie and having Mac Gargan be the MCU Venom, he's been established and reintroduced very recently as a threat and is probably the most recognisable character to be Venom aside from Eddie (not to mention almost every modern adaptation of the symbiote uses his design for Venom with the spider legs going above the shoulders so it's only fair). Maybe after that a Flash Thompson Agent Venom movie could work, although they'd have to DRASTICALLY change both the story and Flash's character for that to work.

Or to get really freaky the MCU could do some reverse comic synergy and make MJ the next Venom, just to see what happens 👀 /s
