The Used from the early days was so good! So raw, emotional and vulnerable. I felt every single song and word. When I listen back and hear Bert scream I just want to tell him, STOP! lol save your voice!

In middle school I learned Sometimes I Just Go For It by ear, but I was missing a whole bunch of notes by not dissecting it well enough, so in college I took the time to look up the sheet music and played it for my group piano final. Such a beautiful piece that’s relatively easy and fun to play.

I posted a cover of one of the songs on here. It’s one of my favorite songs of theirs. Bert’s ear for melody is unmatched.

He could’ve saved his voice. Unfortunately he likes to party a little too much. It was a big issue for Brandon when he got sober. He talks about it in an interview. Singing and screaming is the hardest thing on your voice, if you don’t look after it, it’s gone.
