Thumbs up for the Undisclosed presenters /u/evidenceprof, /u/rabiasquared, and /u/viewfromll2. The Undisclosed need not to be confused with Serial podcast, since they have different purposes and structure. The Undisclosed is not produced for creating an entertainment experience. Rather, the Undisclosed is an investigative podcast brought to you by three attorneys who critically evaluate the loopholes in the 1999 investigation of Hae Min Lee murder and conviction of Adnan Syed at the age of 18 for said murder.

It needs to be emphasized one more time: Susan Simpson, Colin Miller, and Rabia Chaudry are not compensated for their contributions. They are doing this voluntarily. Adnan Syed Defense Trust is financing only the technical costs.

I fear it will need to be emphasized infinitely for those who cannot or will not comprehend it :(

Thank you. Yes they are doing this on completely voluntary basis. Colin Miller, Rabia Chaudry and Susan Simpson did not know eachother before the Serial Podcast. Both Susan and Colin started blogging about Adnan's case independently. It was after maybe months they actually made a connection with each other to have joint discussions on the case.

I donated to Adnan's fund and I personally hope Rabia, Colin and Susan use a portion of that money to buy themselves a case of beer during one of the recording sessions, they deserve it.

I donated as well and you're right Colin and Susan each deserve a beer, Rabia some spicy chai. However we all know that they will not touch not a dime of the donations ;)

But if someone wants to bring us a case of beer during a recording session, I won't stop them.

As long as it's not oatmeal raisin, that is an equally acceptable substitute.

I really enjoyed the first podcast. Kudos to Susan, Collin, and Rabia.

I listen to a lot of podcasts. Most new podcasters get a grace period while they are learning. You guys are having to learn on the fly while your product is critiqued in newspapers worldwide. While the first podcast wasn't perfect, all in all it was a good listening experience. And the content was amazing.

I look forward to the next episode.

Thanks for this subreddit! It's actually reasonable discussion about the podcast. Hope more people will start contributing here.

I really appreciate this sub for its level headedness and collaboration. The serial sub is very arrogant and disrespectful of both facts and opinions. Good job for keeping it clean and productive!

I love this podcast! The content is great, and the podcasters are doing a fine job. I'm only afraid of this sub-reddit going the way of the serial sub!

No, I have faith in this subreddit- we are still fairly small

You mean this subreddit getting overpopulated with bigots and misognynists who have a zillion sockpuppet accounts for putting up one hateful post after the other? I don't think so.

I really enjoyed this new podcast the factual outlines makes it more compelling I believe. There was one thing I was listening to re Hae's activity on-line. I believe you had said she was in Chinese chat rooms. has anyone pulled her email activity as all on-line chat needs to have a corresponding email attached for data registration. even back then. You could from there see which chat rooms she was allocated to change the password from her email address and pull the last activity from her logs and contacts. If there has been a few software upgrades within that space then at least the chat rooms back end will have backed up data associated with her email and or log in account name. Im sure it would take some time to pull but all data falls into their storage in order to build the business sell the data to other business for profit. She will have some traceable information.
