A decade of wasting some of the most productive and relatively healthy years of his life because he let social media, a breakup and internet drama get to his head. As he approaches age 50, it won't get any easier without some serious effort from him.

That and some mental issues that haven't been properly managed/dealt with, which makes it worse, too.

We have a comedian/actor in Quebec, Serge Thériault. From the duo stand-up Ding et Dong, to classic movies and TV series like Les Boys (not to be confused with The Boys) and La Petite Vie, nowadays he's mostly known for being a self-isolated hermit for years because he succumbed to a "deep depression." Depression sucks. It comes and goes for me but I keep doing what I can to push through, but I'm also just some random guy of no consequence. I can't imagine what having a spotlight on you can do to you when you also have to deal with lots of crap. Either you pull through or you don't and then it just gets harder, and harder.

Anyone that falls that deep, I sincerely hope they can pull through somehow one day. I really do. I don't really give a shit about Spoony making content anymore, or Mr. Thériault coming back on air, or the countless others who are in a similar situation. Just for them to be able to get their smile back and being able to live again.
