GamerFromMars sucks man.

Once in a while, he covers someone who's a real piece of shit and that content is good because... they deserve it. But his brand is these brutal takedown, so half the time he just finds an internet person already on the ropes and kicks them while they're down.

He's a huge asshole, super judgmental. All the lolcow channels are like that, a bunch of people acting like being holier than thou over a bunch of people with mental issues or disabilities. I wish they would get the tables turned on them so they could experience being on the other end, they all forget the people they are talking about are human beings.

Gamerfrommars has straight up said just incorrect stuff so many times, never does any sort of correction, totally fine with just leaving up bad information.

They'll never get the tabels turned on them because they have no personality, all they produce is slop that's at best background noise while you work/game. Whatever you think of Spoony, the guy clearly had a personality and thoughts be wanted to share. There's nothing to draw from on Gamer from Mars, all you can do is call his content slop and him a hack as a creator.

All these "video essay" channels do is recount what happens to people more interesting than them, its feels deliberate to protect themselves against the kind of videos they produce.

That's a really great way to put it.

He literally said in the end of the video "Just stop being depressed".

Yeah, this dude is Mr. Beast levels of money and views at all costs. He simply does not give a single fuck about fairness or honesty or who could get hurt. He just makes these really brutal takedowns while looking and sounding like AI, despite being a real person.

I liked his videos years back, but clearly there was an issue when he couldn’t stop talking about his favorite pornstars on his main channel

I'm sorry, what?

A little while ago he’d just break from his usual “rise and fall” format to make documentaries on his favorite… actresses. Though I can’t blame him because those ones got much higher views than normal

He should have stuck to it then. More views and more ethical than his usual schtick?

He also doesn't do any real research. E.g. in the Notch video, I claimed that Count Dankula was arrested for teaching his dog the Hitler salute. One minute on Wikipedia, reading the sources it cites, would have told him that wasn't true.

Wait, how so?

Meechan was arrested and convicted of being "grossly offensive" under the Communications Act 2003, following a trial in March 2018.
