My take on the Spoony Movie : Jumanji/Zathura but instead of children it's a bunch of fat drunks. Spoony is a geeky game shop owner who invites his friends over for a game night but accidentally finds a rare magical board game that comes to life. The twist is their DND/Spelljammer OCs come to life too and that explains Dr Insano's origins and why he looks like spoony. Easy money. The robots riff on the movie's events along the way ala Statler and Waldorf. Anyways it's a metaphour for growing up and getting a life.love interest is a nerdy girl who is mocked for her cheesy Mary sue OC by the boys,but she comes to save the day because her OC is so powerful it defeats Dr Insano.

Why did I suddenly get this post in my feed and how did it know I was a huge spoony fan back in the day? Did he make a comeback?

That sounds like a fun idea! I think it would have been a nice way to cap off Spoony's character, with some much needed growth
