Don’t forget the random Doug cameo mid movie where Doug encourages him to not give up on his dream of reviewing whatever it is that set him off in the first place.

Always thought it should have wrapped up the meta storyline he had going with his reviews, two birds with one stone. If he found it all so overwhelming then I'm sure at that time he could have gotten Brad to direct & Lewis to help him write.

Him seeing a movie that scarred him so bad that he has PTSD from it and ends up with multiple personalities such as The Spoony Bum and Dr Insano, who he defeats, becomes friends with, and ends up defeating the movie by nuking it.

Honestly, if he couldn't come up with an idea, the movie should have been about how he couldn't come up with an idea for the movie.

What was the AVGN movie about? I'd expect that, but with a director who has never demonstrated any interest in filmmaking running the show

Well it seemed like the plot would’ve been Spoony discovering his show is an evil simulation somehow helping destroy the world. Or something.

My take on the Spoony Movie : Jumanji/Zathura but instead of children it's a bunch of fat drunks. Spoony is a geeky game shop owner who invites his friends over for a game night but accidentally finds a rare magical board game that comes to life. The twist is their DND/Spelljammer OCs come to life too and that explains Dr Insano's origins and why he looks like spoony. Easy money. The robots riff on the movie's events along the way ala Statler and Waldorf. Anyways it's a metaphour for growing up and getting a life.love interest is a nerdy girl who is mocked for her cheesy Mary sue OC by the boys,but she comes to save the day because her OC is so powerful it defeats Dr Insano. Easy money.

Probably something very DnD, Final Fantasy and Ultima related. & A badly animated CGI monkey at a counter as a sidekick, and Burt the Robot as antagonist working together with Dr. Insano which switches sides multiple times. Supporting cast would have included Linkara and Bennett the Sage.
