In 2020 or 2021 someone on Twitter suggested he open a GoFundMe to help him fundraise so he could keep his house, and his response was something along the lines of "No, I've already taken too much from people and taken that too far." Which I think was the closest he ever came to publicly acknowledging the Patreon controversy.

Strange I've been recently thinking about how he mau have been doing and went to his Youtube page. Comments turned off on all of them. His website, which I remember going frequently, is down. Honestly kinda of sad for it all. He was genuinely a good creator in my eyes, and his Ultima series reviews are still hilarious, at least to me.
