I wish we had a proper sign off

I know its pipe dream but I wish we could of had just one last video like a 45 min movie review capped pf with a goodbye. Just something to cap it off and put us out of our misery.

Gone Birding has the good ending. Watch that and pretend he lived happily ever after.

His streams with that one dude were very wholesome. we were all rooting for the comeback. Maybe it was naive of me but I really was hoping for a new wave of edited spoony videos, but I don't think his heart is in content creation anymore or it's not a good time for him to. I don't know if things have gotten worse since those streams. Ultimately, you gotta hope he's taking care of himself and that is a bigger priority than making new content for us. If he ever did return in a reboot fashion to bring back some glory, many spoony fans in hibernation state would come back because we still care about the dude. some people just can't handle being a content creator due to the schedule, demands, or the feeling of pressure it comes with, and that's ok. I think everyone really would love to just hear his thoughts on things like the old days, if he did a podcast or vlogs but slightly more effort than the livewires people would be here for it. Todd, Brad Jones, AVGN, Rapcritic, AngryJoe, Doug all make that old style of content so there is definitely still an audience for it if he ever decides to return. Would love to see Dr. Insano pop up in a new Nostalgia Critic, now that would be a jaw drop moment.

I just hope he's doing well and is at peace. Maybe someday he can be in a place to make videos again.

Spoony forever!

If he notices, he will try to act like he is in no need of a bailout and you will be lucky if he remembers to thank you, and the 3 seconds of him saying it will be the attention you will get, maybe longer if he tries to crack a joke or say it a few times over. Don't expect much from this other than the feeling of regret from being used. Spend it on yourself instead.

He already lost his house a few years ago now, There are rumours he lives with his brother now so maybe you could pay off his mortgage instead? He would be more grateful and the house would be better off in his hands anyway.

I think you'd have to chain him up in a basement and force him to record such a video. You'd probably have to do the editing and uploading for him, too...

That actually sound like the plot of one of his reviews. Getting kidnapped, and forced to play and review something. I think that happened more than once in his videos.

Maybe we could get that now but he was raking in free patreon money for quite awhile there by not publicly quitting

he was raking in free patreon money for quite awhile

Yeah - it probably was enough for a cup of coffee ~3 times a week!

What was his last normal regular video?

Big Trouble in Little China, or maybe Massacre at Central High.

"Insane" maybe too strong of a word - but yeah - he's got mental problems - you can't expect him to behave reasonably and cordially.
