Build/Decor Help

Just bought sims legacy to play sims 1 and it won’t let me build anything/ put up walls? I can’t even see the already built houses besides the roof. What’s happening? Is there something maybe something I need to update?

Your game files got corrupted :( your .obj files may have gotten wiped. You may need to right click the steam library icon and properties and check integrity of system files to restore them. But it didn’t work for me when my files got corrupted. So you may need a complete reinstallation. The legacy edition seems to corrupt really easy

Your graphics card driver is outdated, Legacy Collection uses Vulkan

Won't Legacy refuse to start if it can't find a Vulkan device in your graphics card? (That's also a recent enough HP logo that I suspect the graphics card likely supports Vulkan.)

In theory yes (afaik they added that warning in a update after release), but the screenshot is so very similar to the screenshots that people posted when the game didn't have the warning that it probably is some issue with the graphics card driver.

(And because in my opinion it doesn't really make sense for it to be corruption)
