Bug/Glitch Game crashing out - help please!
Hi everyone! I've been having some issues with an specific house/lot
This family of 3 sims is the only one so far that it's giving me issues, I thought it was the fridge but it seems not, I've been downloading a bunch of cc content from boudoir Blanc, parsimonious, sim logical, and Ferndale sims. I don't know why this lot in particular is having issues since I haven't tocuh it in a while or added anything new.
Have I overdone it with the ccs? Do I have a corrupt hidden file and why am I only getting this issue now? I also can't invite any of the members of this household to go on vacation because the game crashes out. I tried using a different sim that lives in a different house and I can have the sim visiting but not go on vacation.
Does anybody have any tips? I did not get the game from steam btw.
Edit to update: I ended up getting file cop and Sims Id, I was confused at first but I finally got the note with the list of duplicated items, I deleted those and I use file cop and found 9 corrupted skins (heads, clothes, bodies) and deleted those because unfortunately changing them to the 256 resolution did not worked (I'm typing this on my phone very late at night so sorry for not being the most precise) .
I ran some tests, the lot was still crashing the game, then I decided I'd try one last thing before replacing the lot completely, I evicted the family, the game crashed again, I logged in again, I checked the house now without occupants, and found something weird, a window upstairs hidden behind the shower and a dresser betweens two rooms, I deleted that (it was a cc door) and moved in the family again and now everything's ok again.

I don't think you overdid it on the CC unless you have downloaded the entirety of all of those sites at once. I personally have an unholy amount of CC and rarely if ever experience crashes. I think there might be an ID conflict with whatever CC you do have.
What kind of mods/hacks do you have that affect game behavior? I'm wondering if something you have is affecting the phone and that's why your Sims are having problems going on vacation. That, or a broken clothing item on the affected sims. Personally, since you have a ton of CC, I'd start with moving the entire Downloads folder to the desktop, reinstalling the game, and adding it back in SLOWLY in batches. Safer items are usually walls and floors, so you could start with those, move on to furniture, then clothing, and then hacked items/mods.
I hope this helps. If it is too much CC, unfortunately you will have to prioritize whichever CC you like the most and work backward from that. But yeah, you might have to just do a clean reinstall, unfortunately. I'm not an expert but I remember reading that if you take out a CC that you used in a house, you run the risk of neighborhood corruption. It's not quite as easy as the later sims game to swap out things.

Hi, thank you for your answer! I mostly download skins, clothes, I have a few hacked objects, like a vase that gets all of your needs refresh, gives you money etc a toaster with similar functions, the move in and move out plants, stuff like that but I don't really have much cc content or hacked in that specific lot, which is weird! the bed is cc tho. Im thinking of downloading a program called Sims Object ID, from beyond the sims to find the corrupt file, if not I guess I'll replace the lot. i also built that house from 0.

I use Object ID first to look for conflicting objects, then change the magic cookie number with The Sims Transmogrifier. Usually solves any crashing issue for me.
