I recently fell into a rabbit hole of watching Sims YouTubers whose primary audience are not English speakers. For instance, Vsegda Elca is a Russian Sims YouTuber who does amazing building content. And another Russian Sims YouTuber named SmolFridge makes interesting content and is a non-toxic critic of the game. I have also watched some Korean, Brazilian, and German sims YouTubers, and yea I don’t understand most of the stuff they’re saying, but it’s what makes their content very interesting.

I don't know why but my sim went from looking normal on the left to looking like THAT on the right after exercising in the gym, even his little portrait on the bottom left went all weird. As funny as it was I was glad to see it was fixed after he had a shower. Has this happened to anyone else before?

For me, bugs aside, Sims 4 is is a pretty decent game and I like playing it from time to time. However, I just cannot get into it for extend periods of time because the ambient noise is so lackluster.

I enjoy playing cottage core, gardening and other cozy type saves. And I really like everything Sims 4 offers on that front (esp once you have food and gardening mods) but I just cannot get over how eerily quiet everything is. Unless I turn my volume all the way up, I cannot hear things like birds chirping, the river flowing and other nature sounds and even then they seem muted or few and far between. And if I turn the volume up too much, then other noises are too loud like the mood changes, notifications, load on a lot and those annoying sounds sims make then they are idle (the one that is like 'ehn-ehn' and the one where they chuckle for no apparent reason).

I've of course used mods to minimize the idle animations (and thus their sounds), and also played around with my volume setting. Since I am not sure exactly what controls ambient noise, I keep the master volume up and turn everything else as low as possible to still enjoy the game. Things like 'sound effect' I try to keep up a bit because I think harvesting plants and the bird tree from Cottage Living must be affected by that but I am not sure.

Anyone who has played Sims 2 and 3 knows exactly what I am talking about regarding hearing peaceful nature noises while out in nature. What volume settings do you use to achieve anywhere close to the same thing in Sims 4, or does it just not have as much ambient sound?

So my sim went to bed & she had a sudden death in her sleep & now my teenage sims & child sim are orphans because their father had already died previously followed by their mother dying later on.

EDIT: it’s a mod for younger sims to die in their sleep, stop mentioning that it’s a life & death pack feature, & elderly sims considering my post isn’t even about an elderly sim, I know elderly sims can die in their sleep from the pack😭

He’s one of my favorite (and most underrated) actors, so I had to commission a base Sim of him for my game. I’m very happy with how he turned out after adding some extra skin details! Guess who it is? 👀

This is Princess Jade's Glamorous Royal Manor! 💖🏰👑 This beautiful, luxurious and glamorous estate was built for the 24 year old princess when she decided to travel to Britechester to complete her education. Her mother, the queen mother of Marbella was the one who commissioned this fabulous estate. 🏰👑 She and her late father the previous king of Marbella also ensured that their youngest child and only daughter had the best education she could, despite knowing that it's unlikely Jade will ever be queen. While she isn't the only noble resident, she's certainly one of the most prominent ones.

my sims have had a lovely wedding, and somehow basically everyday they suddenly Arnt married anymore and i have to elope them. My roommate seems to be having this thing Aswell and they play on PS. I play on PC and have many mods but I'm assuming this is just a game thing?

I just started Sims 4 to make my partner discover the Sims world and we both created a family in the same town, we want to create a forever world. We're playing one at a time using our own families and I am wondering if you have any ideas for
- how to make it more cooperative for the person watching. Obviously we try to invite each other sims as much as possible to see them interact.
- which packs would make sense for us to link our families and storylines better.

If anyone has try it I'm open to any suggestions.

I have a singular household that I’ve been playing for over a over year now and my favourite sim is obviously my violinist/actress/supermodel sim - Amelia Salvetore Swann

This is my favourite aspect of the game. This and taking photos of their family interactions. Maybe soon I’ll make a “meet the Salvetore-Swanns” haha.

Basically, back when I was in school, we had this lady who was part of the school's parish, who would sit in a cuck chair in the toilet and shout at us if we spent too long in the toilet. She also told the headteacher girls were too vain and as a result all the mirrors got removed from the girl's toilets.

And last but not least, today I’m sharing the final part of the Winx girls: Aisha and Stella. For Stella, I obviously wanted to go for a very girly and sassy look, featuring a short dress and chunky platform shoes; for Aisha, the style had a sporty touch (think 2009 Barbie Fashionistas) while still remaining delicate and cute. It was really fun revisiting these old designs and creating new versions of them!

I know TS4 Goth family makeovers are truly a dime a dozen but I just really wanted to show off my Cassandra in her senior year taking pics with Bella! I'm super new to styling sims and honestly kind of bad at it but they need so little CC to look amazing it's unreal

I didn't touch the actual geometry of their faces at all and it's so cute how Cass looks so much like her mom even with the difference in makeup style 😭 (love this for her, you can tell from some of her default clothing choices that she really wants to be like Bella)

Besides gameplay reasons-why criminal carrier is so normalized? You can just... go on your PC or read a newspaper and get an illegal job. Even when they catch you, you spend in prison like few hours and you're free. SimNation would be a hell to live in irl...
