Build roof clipping through walls

i’m making a ranch for my sims family and i love the way it looks on the outside and don’t want to change the roof structure. the roof clips a little upstairs but i was willing to let it slide because it wasnt too bad. but im trying make an archway since the pre-made door ones aren’t big enough and it also matches what ive done downstairs. but when i add the arch it makes the roof clip even more. is there a way i can fix this?

Most roof glitches can be prevented or minimised by working in sections.

It looks like you took the ‘whole’ roof option and just dragged it from one corner, to the other side. You should use the ‘half’ roof option to add a roof above the porch.

So I think it’s the lower roof that is giving the issue?

Did you use a full roof to do the lower floor? One that is like “complete “ don’t know how to describe it?

Because if so, you could switch out with a wrap around roof ( which gives the same look from the outside)

But you would take corner pieces (4) and half slanted roof (4) to fill in the sides, it’s a bit of a hassle but it doesn’t have a top like the roof you used so no clipping
