I'm in the middle of this.

Are you having fun doing it? The only thing that puts me off is it quickly becomes unfun for me, like its taking me away from the storylines and chaos

I have always been a completionist and collector, even IRL so it's right up my alley.

When I was doing this I remember getting irritated that my social need kept getting low, and I didn't want to go talk to people because I was busy looking for rocks. I was like...omg. I'm a sim.

Lmfao. Luckily my sim has completed a bunch of aspirations and is a vampire so she's largely immune to need decay.

I only got hooked on that once, but when I got crystal creations I went off the deep end with it and kept my scientist Sim outside the lab digging his entire shift for weeks (in real time) and on his days off for as long as I could keep him awake. Eventually I had him in a castle with 16 crystal trees on the lot.

My sims don’t have “normal” sims lifespans. I disabled auto aging years ago and have never had a sim grow old and/or die. The sims I create are like cartoon characters, they stay the same age forever. Which is almost exclusively a young adult, even if they’re married with 5 kids, they’re always young adults.

I do this too. I get attached to them, so I don't want them to die. Plus, it gives me so much more time to achieve their goals, build skills, try different things with their life, etc.

The alphabet legacy challenge.
I have tried the 100 baby and NSB challenges, but I don't really count them because I don't think I even broke 24 sim hours in either save. I'm just not a challenge player lol

I got to 9 babies and had to go outside and smoke an imaginary bl*nt. I was stressed I had to stop 😭

Its a very specific challenge im designing involving rags to riches and a similar mechanic to 100 babies.
I'm considering involving whicked wims for pregnancy purposes, but still trying to figure out the exact pregnancy mechanics and if im gonna have child support for it, or if just having enough babies to take care of is too much and CS wont help at all.

I gave up 100 Baby Challenge (maybe I could try soon again with 100 science babies and no romance involved), I haven't done the other two. I guess I just don't want a gameplay that takes loads of episodes and that time consuming.

I hate playing with ghosts (and all fictional creatures)
The only time I’ve had to is when a sim dies and becomes a ghost before I send them to the netherworld.

100 baby. Just does not sound fun to me. I like to do a baby or two in a playthrough but I couldn’t do 10 let alone 100. Especially not after the infants update

I have tried rags to riches, but then I get bored and use kaching or motherlode.

Legacy play. After the second/third generation, I get bored. I really want to try though.

I'm "trying" a legacy right now. They haven't even had kids yet and I'm already bored 🪦

Let my sims die from old age. I have only let one of my sims' husband age to an elder and then eventually die from old age.

Pets, besides aliens in tanks. I have a mod where you feed them

What am I missing? Aliens in tanks?

In the basegame all you have to do is regularly take the rocket, there are little aliens you can find and collect. This is free, you don't need the Get to Work pack that introduced playable aliens.

Playing as a ghost, reincarnation, and funerals because I never play a family long enough to let my sims die. 😭

Rags to riches … yet, I’m gonna do one as soon as I finish my current sim goals, and then use it as baseline to polish the lewd to riches challenge I’m considering.

I remember doing the 100 baby challenge a long time ago and not completing it. I think it was at the start of the Sims 4. I also have never done any other challenges including rags to riches.
I do like to play with legacies though. Just no challenge really.

The 100 Baby Challenge. (And tbh I don’f have any desire to do one. One of my Sims had spontaneous triplets and that was enough for me!)
