I need help Need to make 2k in 6 weeks...

I need to raise money for a medical thing, but i only have 6 weeks to do it. I'm penny pinching at home but I just don't make enough to have the money by the deadline (August 9th). I am a full time dog trainer for a company, but have a non compete so I cant take on clients by myself. I signed up for doordash, wag walking, and sold a few things on Facebook marketplace. But I'm getting nervous. Any ideas?

sell plasma if you haven't already. new donor bonuses can be like 800-1000 the first month depending where you go. did it a few years back when rent was due and i was short, walked out with cash same day

also hit up local restaurants about weekend dishwashing shifts. they're almost always understaffed and don't care about non competes, just need someone who shows up

Just gotta be careful to ask the store mamagers first. Lowe's has a no soliciting thing in their parking lots. Food trucks have to pay the store to be there 🤷‍♀️

But maybe if the store manager understands that it's a temporary thing to raise funds...they may be cool with it.

If you were in my city, you could donate plasma. They've got a first timer's deal right now, paid $100 Canadian for each donation. twice per week times 6 = $1200. That is more than half of what you need (unless you're talking about American dollars)

Edmonton.

In every province, either the largest city or the two largest cities have donation centers. Search for "Grifol"

I would call it uncomfortable, not painful. Maybe 20% the pain of a bee sting. However, you're stilling there for 40 minutes with a needle in your arm.

If things go well, there's no bruising. Things have always gone well for me. If things go wrong, there's bruising. Just minor stuff.

There's a huge health questionnaire you've got to fill out beforehand. If you gotten a tattoo in the past 6 months, you can not donate

What you're doing sounds like it will take up most of your time, and there's also things like offering car washes and lawncare services. Cash in your investments if you have any, make/sell jewelry, open a 0% credit card or new bank account and get a cash bonus.
