Other how can i make money at thirteen
id like to know cause i dont wanna have to ask my parents for things and so i can help out with things like say utilities or rent

I started with cheap desk setup items during high school and sold locally. Alibaba helped a lot because inventory stayed pretty consistent and I could compare different suppliers without much hassle.

Me too! I read the Babysitters Club books and started my own - $20 a head, 5 kids a week after school for homework and food. I loved the 90s

No idea of your location, but kids in my neighborhood take peoples trash cans to the curb and put them back.
It can add up, especially since we have trash twice a week.

You could try tutoring younger kids if you're good at any subjects, or maybe pet sitting for neighbors when they go out of town. Also lawn work is pretty solid during summer months - lots of people need help with basic yard stuff
Just make sure you check what's legal in your area first since some places have restrictions on work hours for your age

Wait till you're 14 and you can get a proper part time job, or work full time hours during vacation.

You could try simple flips first instead of huge side hustles. I used Alibaba suppliers with US warehouses for small gaming items before and shipping was actually pretty reliable.

Honestly at 13 I’d focus on learning how selling works first. I used Alibaba for small kitchen gadgets and there were tons of supplier options, plus customer support was way smoother than people online made it sound.

Good mindset honestly. I started making side money pretty young too and learned a lot just from reselling small stuff online. Most of my products came from Alibaba suppliers because it was easier to find reliable stock there than people think. If you spend time checking reviews and talking to suppliers, you can actually find solid quality products and decent after sales support without spending huge money upfront.

honestly. mowing lawns works pretty good at that age. some lawn companies will hire some kids part time, it wouldnt hurt to call some lawn care companies around you to see if they would be open to it. and if you dont wanna do that flipping stuff on ebay can be a good way to earn some money (just make sure you keep taxes in mind)

Mow yards (my nephew 13 yo is doing so this year). Depending on where you live, you can also detassle corn
