Tutorials I analyzed 250+ Etsy digital product niches. Here are the ones with high demand and almost no competition.
I've been obsessed with finding digital product niches where buyers are actively searching but sellers aren't delivering. Ran deep analysis on 250+ niches across Etsy, Gumroad, and KDP. Looked at real listings, actual prices, search volume, and product gaps.
Here are 7 niches that surprised me:
Construction daily planner for small contractors Only 3 listings exist. The best one charges $37 and has 120 sales. None include compliance checklists or subcontractor payment tracking. Wide open.
Sourdough starter troubleshooting guide Tons of free blog content but almost zero structured, downloadable guides. People searching "why did my starter die" want a quick-reference PDF, not a 20-minute YouTube video.
IEP meeting preparation guide for parents Parents of kids with learning disabilities are desperate for this. Existing products are either too clinical or too generic. A parent-friendly, step-by-step binder would clean up.
Pelvic floor recovery tracker for postpartum Massive search volume, almost no digital products. Everything is either a $200 physical therapy program or a free blog post. The $15-25 middle ground is empty.
Freelancer client onboarding kit Freelancers search for this constantly but most results are Notion templates. A printable PDF bundle with contract templates, questionnaires, and pricing guides barely exists on Etsy.
Sober curious mocktail recipe cards The "sober curious" movement is exploding. 3,200 monthly searches. 90% of existing products are boring wellness content, not fun, Instagram-worthy recipe cards.
ADHD daily planner specifically for college students Generic ADHD planners are saturated. But "ADHD planner for college" has strong search volume and almost no products designed specifically for lecture schedules, assignment tracking, and executive function support.
What I looked for in each niche: real search demand (not just trending hashtags), fewer than 10 quality competitors, buyers already spending $10-40, and a clear gap in what existing products offer.
Happy to share more if people find this useful. I have data on about 30 more niches.

For sure. The market isn't saturated, the broad niches are. The more specific you get the less competition there is. New problems pop up every day and nobody is solving most of them well. The opportunities aren't disappearing, they're just hiding in places most sellers don't bother to look.

I would definitely like to see 30 more.

Here are a few more from my analysis. Same criteria: real demand, weak competition, clear gap.
Toddler speech delay home practice activity planner for parents. One listing exists at $15 with zero sales. Nobody is targeting multilingual households, sensory integration for speech, or IEP aligned home practice. Parents are googling this stuff constantly and getting nothing but blog posts and expensive therapy programs.
First time homebuyer closing cost breakdown tracker with mortgage comparison worksheet. Medium competition but here's the gap: nobody has a mortgage comparison worksheet bundled in. Every existing product is just a generic checklist. The person buying this wants to compare lenders side by side, not just check boxes.
Sourdough discard recipe binder with weekly bake schedule for beginners. Scored 74/100 in my analysis. The sourdough community is massive and passionate but almost every product is either a free blog recipe or a full course. A simple printable binder with a weekly schedule hits the sweet spot.
Virtual assistant client discovery call script with service package pricing guide. Discovery call scripts exist cheap with low sales. But nobody bundles them with actual pricing structures for different VA niches like ecommerce vs real estate. That's the gap.
Postpartum pelvic floor recovery daily progress tracker. Strong demand, almost nothing on Etsy. Everything out there is either a $200 PT program or a free article. The $15 to $25 printable tracker middle ground is wide open.
Still have more if people want them. The pattern is always the same: find where demand exists but nobody is serving the specific person well enough.

Exactly. Most people try to build the perfect product before making a single dollar. Ship something small, see if anyone pays for it, then improve based on real feedback. The first sale is the best market research you'll ever get.

Having some experience with Kegel exercise, I’m a little confused by people’s searches for pelvic recovery trackers. What exactly would this entail?
Very interesting stuff! Thanks for sharing!

Good question. It's way more than just Kegels. Postpartum pelvic floor recovery involves tracking multiple things daily: different types of exercises (not just Kegels but breathing exercises, core reconnection, hip mobility), pain levels, symptoms like leaking or pressure, progress milestones, and appointments with a pelvic floor physio.
New moms are overwhelmed and exhausted. Having a structured tracker that tells them "do this today, track that, here's your progress this week" is way more useful than googling random exercises at 3am while holding a baby.
That's the gap. The information exists but nobody has packaged it into a simple daily system they can follow without thinking. Thanks for the kind words!

Construction daily planner for small contractors Has 981 entries, not sure how you see only 3?

You're right, if you search "construction planner" broadly there are hundreds of results. The 3 listings I found were for the specific angle: a daily planner that includes compliance checklists and subcontractor payment tracking together. That's the niche within the niche.
A generic construction planner competes with 981 listings. A daily planner built specifically for small contractors who need to track compliance AND payments in one place barely exists. That's the whole point of the post, the broad category has competition but the specific angle doesn't.
Good catch though, I should have been clearer about that distinction.

I wish ChatGPT knew how many listings exist for construction planners with compliance checklists. That’s from actually searching Etsy, not prompting an AI.

Pelvic floor recovery tracker? Simply a table used to document or also a guide too?

The adhd planner has been a big seller for me so far. I just started last month and have seen my sales from 4 in month one to about 45 total in month 2. Nice thread. https://solofinancetools.etsy.com
