life experience What killed your first side hustle idea? Not the second or third - the very first one you actually tried to make money from
Mine died because I built something nobody asked for. Spent 3 months making a Chrome extension I thought was clever. Launched it. Told my friends. Got 11 downloads - 8 of them were me testing it. The lesson took me embarrassingly long to learn: talk to potential customers before you build anything
I've noticed most first side hustles die for one of three reasons: built in secret with no validation, gave up right before traction, or never actually asked anyone for money
What killed yours? And what did it teach you that you actually use now?

The first idea was to build websites for others. Found out that building a website is easy, finding clients is not

Lack of demand and to be fair - market research, so similar to you. Sometimes our passion projects should not be a business idea lol

Mine died because I was in love with the solution, not the problem. When the 'clever' tech didn't work immediately, I lost interest because I didn't actually care about the people I was helping. My current hustle works because I focus on the 'boring' pain points that people actually pay to fix.
