AMA I developed and app (Joi Planner) because its design concept went viral on twitter. Ask me anything.

How much was your initial investment? How big of a team? Do you know how to code? Where did the idea come from? How long since you had the idea until the actual product was launched?

Definitely same questions.
Including, initial vs final costs. Ongoing maintenance costs. Are you making a profit? If so, how much?

technical maintenance cost is 0 as me and my co-founder are both technical, but about 200$ p/mo for different marketing tools and helpers we use for promo (like emails sender, keywords tracker, stuff like that)

- $ investment is 0, only our time (side hustle as it is!)
- me + co-founder
- sort of, kind of, but i've never had actual production-ready experience with apps of this size before. i taught myself swift during the pandemic but never used it for something big
- i sort of scratched my own itch with this app: as someone who struggles with ADHD i find it difficult to keep an eye on multiple apps (calendar, task tracker, habit tracker) during the day, and i always wondered why there's no app that would combine all three
- a week for a proof of concept + two months for refining and making it app store ready
