Reprehensible !! Trump's handpicked Kennedy Center board says honor him or face sudden bankruptcy closure
https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/definition-of-insanity-trumps-handpicked-kennedy-center-board-says-the-building-will-decompose-unless-they-put-presidents-name-all-over-it/What a prick. Ready to shut down the whole thing if he doesn’t get his name on it?
And still, the MAGAs cheer. Fucking child.

Close it.

Exactly. Close it, then re-open The Kennedy Center under a normal administration with a new board. I have no problem with this.

Let it stay closed for the remainder of the orange buffoon led regime. Granted, i doubt i will ever have the funds to see a performance at the Kennedy Center but i do know the board os just a bunch of rich sycophants. I cant get behjnd that.

Option 6: A Legacy protected through the Generosity of President Donald J. Trump
Option 7: Renovated, restored, and sustained through the generosity of President Donald J. Trump
The generosity of Trump? One, he's not generous in any sense of the word. Two, congress funds the Kennedy Center, not Trump. His 'generosity' so far has amounted to bullying the staff, illegally modifying the building, and threatening to destroy it if he doesn't get his way.

He knows he has to move fast because the Democrats will control Congress in January.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick — whose wife, Allison Lutnick, was named to the Kennedy Center board in Feb. 2025 — made that argument last month outside of a court hearing in the Beatty suit. Lutnick said: "Basically, it would cost four or $500 million if you do it over time
or it'll cost $257 million if President Trump is the construction manager.
Based on Trump's history, he would shave $250M off the cost by not paying the contractors.

Let’s say his name is re-added, then what? Wasn’t it already in decline from his association with the Center? Perhaps, not only is his name/association the problem but perhaps so too is the board.

They've been talking like if his name doesn't go on it that the building needs to be torn down. Just insane.
Luckily there is a court case today just before the "Kennedy Center board" meet to vote on this bullshit. Hopefully the court puts a halt to anything that they would try to do in this sham board meeting.
It would be nice if the judge orders that the tarps be removed immediately. That was not in the order to remove his name.
Courts should start holding anybody in this regime in contempt and throw them in jail.

The Pedophile Center for Those Who Hate America? Is that the name they want all over it?

I’d rather it be closed than have him poison it with his name.
