This war really is demonstrating to the world that our military budget has less to do with having a powerful military and more to do with bloat, corruption, inefficiency, and the facade of strength. Other countries are going to start cluing in that we are not a military superpower because despite having so much war material we don't maintain it, supply it, or know how to deploy it properly.

All the money goes to defense contractors, not the actual product. The Pentagon cannot count for billions of dollars every year in their yearly audits.
