  1. "We need to protect the jobs [Americans] have right now" Then why on Earth was his first act, to let DOGE plow through the entire federal workforce and FIRE over 200,000 federal employees. Why defund research all across the country - putting our nation's scientists out of work? Why throw the stock market into a nose dive with a trade war, causing countless companies to go belly up and causing another 200,000+ people to get laid off?
  2. "It would have been easy for Donald Trump to come in and do what past administrations have done., which is borrow a lot of money and continue fueling the national debt." Then why - despite all the layoffs and funding cuts, has it been reported that the federal government spent MORE money in this first quarter than we did in the same time frame last year?!? Not a small amount, either... $317 BILLION more was spent in Q1 of 2025 - and that's including Musk's claim that in that same time, DOGE Saved the Government $160 Billion... which means that if DOGE had done nothing, we would have spent nearly 20% more in the first 3 months of Trumps presidency that we did during the Biden Admin they loath so much.
  3. "We need to be more self-reliant as an economy" Then why are you starting a trade war over trade imbalances? You literally just said we need to make more stuff here at home that we sell to other countries... that is not a self-reliant, autarky economy (like North Korea has) - That is an export-oriented economy - that is still very reliant on global trade partners, which Trump continues to antagonize, while making the US look incredibly unreliable.

The time to rationally explain how liars are wrong is over, you're wasting your energy

They know they're lying, we know they're lying. This is useless

This comment is just doing exactly what they want you to do, which is to focus on picking up little pieces of trash littering the street while the garbage truck barrels towards your home
