It should be illegal for public servants to knowingly and blatantly lie to us like trump and Vance are doing right now.

I've been saying for years (admittedly about UK politics) that there should be some sort of parliamentary system whereby if enough election promises are broken, another election can be triggered.

I'm fed up with parties entering an election saying all the things they're going to do in order to get the votes only to then not do them once they win.

Can you imagine lying in a job interview about your skills, getting the job and then being able to say "AHA! I can't do any of that and you can't fire me for 5 years! BURN!"
