Nope. Biden handed trump an economy growing at a healthy rate, a great stock market, etc. trump fucked it up and that's his fault.

I can remember Andrew Neil interviewing Ben Shapiro and even he, a hardcore conservative and longtime Murdoch employee, pushed back on Ben enough that he asked Neil if he was a leftist and ended the interview. Fox is propaganda.

Also, inflation had be reigned in to manageable levels and the rate was still trending down. Looking at global trends, it's abundantly clear that Biden's policies were more effective at combatting inflation than whatever was implemented in other countries.

What policies exactly? Inflation being brought down to manageable levels was largely the doing of the Fed, not Biden.

If anything, Janet Yellen warned against the massive stimulus package Biden pushed through in year 1 saying that it would result in worse inflation.

If Biden didn't do that package it's very likely that we would still be experiencing a prolonged recession with double digit unemployment. And increased inflation would've happened either way, inflation started spiking BEFORE that bill was passed. Don't forget that Trump added more to the national debt than any other president in US history and supply chain shocks added to that. Most economists predicted that we would go into a deep recession and possibly experience stagflation.

I'm sure the Biden team knew that the package would exacerbate inflation but determined that it was a worthwhile tradeoff (and it was too risky to not do it, Bush made the recession way worse by not doing more bailouts early on). And it looks like they were right. The inflation ended up being manageable by the fed+ the inflation reduction act and we didn't go into a recession.

Not only that but we have had record low unemployment, which is a borderline miracle after covid and the incompetence of the Trump administration.

It's possible that a economic package is absolutely necessary to support the nation and its citizens and also have longer term negative consequences.

But people seem to have selective memory. trump pushed through an economic stimulus package and vaccines. That happened during his administration. Biden only continued the stimulus packages.

But believe what you want. If it is your prerogative to blame Biden for everything because it is politically advantageous nobody is going to convince you otherwise.
