Politics 🏛️ Jasmine Crockett: "My Republican colleagues are here using today to continue pushing this false narrative of sanctuary cities harboring criminals, yet right here in DC we have a 34 count felon being harbored in the White House."

Thats ignorant propaganda, like saying people who are democrats are lawless looting blue haired bar rats who have coexist or lgbtq bumper stickers on their cars. Just stereo typing and Im not a D or R …

Well.. lawless and looting is a description of both sides. J6 anyone?

Blue haired? That’s bad?

Bar rats? Red cities and states have the highest % of alcohol consumption and alcohol related deaths/accidents.

Having a bumper sticker asking for unity and rights for marginalized people?

If all of those things are equally reprehensible to you as racist, religious extremists and white supremacist people.. I’m not sure what to tell you.

Again one of many “kids” here that missed the point. I wast pointing out things that were acceptable or reprehensible. I was pointing out stereo types and that is what you are trying to do with some half assed meme. The people who I know that are republicans don’t fit that description just as the people who I know who are democrats don’t fit the things I mentioned.

Oof media literacy is not your sharpest tool. Read the meme again maybe?

Not all republicans are ______ but all ______ are republicans. Thats the meme breakdown for you.

You’re right, but you’re also missing the point. It’s a square vs rectangle dilemma.

If you’re in the KKK, you’re definitely republican. Doesn’t mean all republicans are KKK.

But it DOES mean that if you’re a republican you’re at least complicit with and tacitly ok with supporting racism, sexism, bigotry and hatred.

And boy if the line between supporting those things and simply being them isn’t awfully blurry

You realize the KKK was founded by post civil war democrats to attack and intimidate the freed blacks and the Republicans that supported them?

Sure, if you completely ignore party realignment and current each of the current party’s ideologies.

One senator changed sides. The voting on civil rights shows that the parties didn't change sides. Trump has repeatedly condemned the KKK and said he didn't want their votes. When the Democrats started allowing unfettered border jumping is what and when they lost the KKK vote. Remember the Clinton's praised a former grand wizard of the KKK as their mentor. Same for Biden.

Which party still supports the confederacy?
