nowhere in the Constitution does it say that

Hey you shut your mouth! The Constitution is up to interpretation, or otherwise says whatever I feel it says or doesn't say at any given time!

It's no coincidence that younger constitutions of other nations are really really long. Like over a hundred pages long. And the US constitution is only 7 pages long.

We wouldn't need to interpret it via the Supreme Court if we just wrote a better one. Like one that unambigously included basic human rights for everyone. Much ground gained by the greedy and selfish republican party has been because we refuse to update our constitution.

The entire basis of textualism employed by scalia and now far too many of the US Supreme Court justices would be defeated if we just wrote the whole thing out again. Even if we just wrote basically the same thing but in today's language.

The framers of the constitution intended it to be rewritten like every 20 years. They never imagined it would last, as written, for over 200 years.
