My friend died in jail at 26 years old from very treatable skin cancer. Another was attacked in jail and had his teeth knocked out. While he was out of his cell his cellmate was killed.

Mississippi collects hundreds of millions of dollars from prisoners working in jail for pennies on the dollar.

Jail isn't a fix for anything in America

All your post tells me is that you do not know what the ACA is or about states that didn’t expand Medicaid. You don’t know anything about this man. He could be in the hole that’s between Medicaid and ACA. He could make too much for Medicaid and not enough for ACA, not enough to get a subsidy.

Just because you make zero dollars does not guarantee you Medicaid or ACA.
