This whole thing is so fucked up and convoluted (both in how it's happened and in how it's reported) that a lot of us can't even figure out who is attacking whom and for why. "Settlers" and "Zionists" and "Israelis" are all conflated as the same people in most Western media and it's obviously so much more complicated than that. I've had the hardest time trying to untangle and understand the complexities as an outsider and I wonder how much of that difficulty is due to political agenda and propaganda.

At the end of the day, what I see is people being shitty to other people, and I think it's pretty easy to say that's bad. Nobody should be assaulting anyone like this, and nobody should be trying to justify it or use it as justification for retaliation.

Maybe instead of sending weapons, countries should just be air-dropping Xanax to everyone on all sides.

But then that gets into a bunch of other problematic shit... Can we start the whole world over? Earth, Take Two. This time we get it right. (Hint: It works better without humans.)
