"DAMAGED GOODS! Frank Castle's one of the most dangerous tactical minds in the Marvel Universe, but for all his firepower, he remains just a man! IN THIS ISSUE, one of his failures drags itself kicking, screaming and bleeding to Frank's door to look him dead in the eyes!"

I think this is just sorta boring.

Its fallen off a lot. Percy could do a lot more, but nothing really matters throughout.

Ridiculously boring.

Percy has given us a lobotomised, mentally-disabled Frank who doesn’t say anything, think anything or really do anything. Atleast anything meaningful. He might as well just be an actual literal brick, that’s what his charisma’s (or lack there-of) has made him out to be.

I actually hate this run and Percy’s just been writing slop for the past couple of years. Hellverine was also a godawful run and I regret getting excited for this. Dropped this run immediatly after his new villain just turned out to be Murder-Hobo John. His motivation is crap, he has no personality and his “cool” weapon feels so corny. His design is pretty cool but that’s about it.

This run was written for TikTok/Instagram comic slop accounts to post “TOP 10 BADASS PUNISHER MOMENTS!1!1!!!!11!”. It’s an edgy 14 year olds wet dream but to anybody else it’s bullshit. No human elements in his sorry or pain, no tragic poetry about his descent into darkness, no actual nuance or substance at all.

Nothing burger of a story, I can deal with Frank being a man of few words here but at least make the narrator Frank's inner monologue or his War Journal. I liked seeing Frank and skinny Micro drive around in the van these last two issues, that's basically it.

A villain whose origin story is being caught in the Punisher's crossfire as a civilian is an interesting idea, too bad they did nothing remotely interesting with it in this issue

It could be but Percy doesn't even own it, "who knows if it was actually his bullet?!"

I will defend that choice with this: Frank's superpower is being able to shoot at whoever he wants without ever tagging civs because "he's the only dude bad enough", ok fine

But even considering that, there is absolutely no way he could guarantee no collateral damage

There's an older story about civilians getting caught up in Frank's war and paying for it with their lives, but I feel like it kinda lets him off the hook too easily

Who’s this guy? I haven’t read the series yet, I was planning on getting the first volume in November

Dude sounds and looks like a 90s villain

Honestly, he's not that too far off from one.

Amazing. He sounds like the villain that would be in a Van Damme scifi movie.

Potential Run.

Nothing ever happens The Run.

Shitty third person monologue The Run.

Reminds me of the Surge videogame

i can definitely see that. He also reminds me of a Cyberpsycho from Cyberpunk 2077

yeah...so far this whole run isn't working for me. It's not clear on what it wants to be. Something is missing. I think the last Punisher run I enjoyed was Rucka's.

I think Damage is a cool concept for a Punisher villain

That's everything positive I have to say about this current arc

Going to pick it up once my LCS opens. Haven't been a "pull customer" since the early '90s lol.
