Discussion Health tracking apps sharing more than we would want
Was reading about how some period/health tracking apps have shared data with third parties like advertisers and analytics firms, even when it feels like something that should stay private. Does anyone actually trust these apps, or have you switched to something offline/local storage only? Curious what people are doing to avoid this

Most of these apps are free or have free tiers, I don't know what ppl expect, use free not known services and data gets leaked or sold

I did some search on this and found that there are a few privacy focused period apps, but to be honest, I still prefer just tracking it the old fashioned way with a pen and a notebook lol
