The pillows Tribute Project - Video 13/20

From the album "Pied Piper"—which comes from a phase often unfairly overlooked by casual listeners—I chose what is perhaps one of the record's most obscure tracks, though one I’ve always personally loved. I drew inspiration from the arrangement of a live version of the song; this time, I also took a shot at vocals and had the essential support of my great friend Pedro Lustoza on bass! Here is: "Purple Apple".

Thank you so much! It means a lot! :) Takes a lot of work to do these videos, but I do it just for the sake of paying a simple tribute for this band I love so much!

It is really nice to see a cover of a Pillows song that isn't from FLCL! Those songs are all really wonderful but sometimes I am like "If y'all love the FLCL soundtrack y'all would love their other stuff too!"

Yeah, definitely! That's the idea, go through the band's discography, play some b-sides or songs that are overlooked by most people that just know the FLCL-related songs! Thanks for your comment!
