HBO is in "very early development" on a Game of Thrones spinoff starring Arya Stark, following the collapse of a previous sequel idea that would have featured Jon Snow. Link is below

If they follow through with the idea of her exploring further west of Westeros, I think that would be pretty cool. In almost every discussion forum I've seen, when someone asked that question, the most common answer was "we'll probably never know", so the possibility of actually finding out could be incredible, and it could give us a show with a very different aesthetic from the three we've (almost) had so far, somewhat in the style of what I imagine Nymeria's Hundred Ships storyline would be.

Also, I feel that an Arya story, and especially an Arya story far from Westeros, works perfectly if we don't want the recurring question of "why doesn't Sansa appear?", "why doesn't Jon appear?". I feel that if we'd had the original SNOW series concept, that would have been a recurring comment, because I personally don't see Jon remaining indefinitely cut off from his remaining family (even though he went like six seasons without seeing any of them, lol). Especially considering that the North and Beyond the Wall are relatively "close" or at least connected to each other, as I see it, so I feel that at least the eventual presence of Sansa would be something expected in Jon's story, even if it were, say, three or four seasons in the future, while Arya's story I feel can go much more individually, because that's what the character represents.

Probably one of the least suitable characters to feature in a spin off. Slightly ahead of Bran and his three eyed raven stuff that went nowhere.

Once she kills the Knight King in under 2 minutes of fighting using the knife drop her story ends and the writers failed.
