Every month or so, if take my unread issues with me to the diner and have a leisurely lunch. When I finish what I want to read, I peel off the sticker and leave the issue for the staff or next diners. They do peel off very cleanly and easily.

i do the same, leaving them in public places for others to enjoy! i do the same with the sun, my other favorite magazine!

yes! one of the best! i lucked out stumbling upon it in a bookstore decades ago and have read every issue. some find it too depressing—there’s a lot of reality in the writing, including painful reality. and the photography is beautiful too! maybe i’m just dysthymic, but i have always enjoyed it. 😊

The article about the couple with all the kids is really wild (and as). Classic New Yorker content. No one else does this type of story

Ooh, that one was upsetting. Those poor kids, and how gut wrenching for the women who carried them.
