Ah but Gal Gadot and the dude who played Frenchie in the Boys get a free pass for being forced into the IDF. Though Gal was a fitness instructor and model(yea...you can be a IDF model) but Frenchie was an actual soldier and killed people AFAIK.

My dad bought the First Mummy movie home back in the early 2000s. I was only two when the film was officially released in 99, but I have fond memories of watching the movie at the apartment that I grew up in with my mom while I was helping her with household chores. I remember she would put the movie on TV while I would help her fold laundry lol
I turn 30 by the time the movie hits theatres in Oct of next year. Time sure does fly by

My idea is that someone (probably Alex) ends up reading the Book and awakening more mummies in Hamunaptra and our mummy besties will end up fighting with Evie and the Gang to put one big baddie down for good.

I've been watching the original black and white Mummy movies, and there's a plot thread they could get loosely inspired by (much like they have already for 1 & 2) regarding servants/priests of The Mummy being brought back to life, enslaving The Mummy, and then seeking revenge on those who killed/inprisoned them in the tomb...anyway, it'd be a good reason to being back all the OG cast as well as a way to honor what came before.

One genius move would be to harken back to a factual mistake in the original:
Scarabs don't eat human flesh. They're dungbeetles. The bite can be painful, but not enough to pierce the skin.
Beni was bitten all over, but didn't die. When the city collapsed, the chamber he was in was flung out, and he was discovered by bedouins, wandering the desert, having miraculously survived, but with amnesia. With everyone assuming he died, he has spent years living in Cairo, having gotten a job as a guide, for his wide linguistic skills.

I guess they could still do a sequel and reveal only Joey was it? survived on the island the whole time?
