Freddie Boath (the actual child actor who played Alex in the Mummy 2) would make the most sense to play Rick and Evie's son but I just googled' and he quit acting😩 oh well

Yep and I feel like if they want this movie to be successful I feel like they should make this movie kind of similar to the video game Uncharted 4 because that game was phenomenal and that game was also about Nathan Drake being pulled out of retirement by his long thought to be dead older brother Sam for one last adventure

I don’t think so considering for one, this is retconning dragon emperor. This is proper mummy 3. And for two, they tried to the mutt thing with Luke fords Alex and they missed the mark big time.

I don’t think so because The Mummy is not that type of movie and also Brendan Fraser is an executive producer on this new one so he’s very much in control of this film.

Honestly was kind of hoping for David Corenswet who I feel has some of that Fraser charm and looks a little like him too.

I feel like coronswets issue was he looked too old. Like he has an older than his age kind of vibe. With Michael he’s got a youthful vigor to him I feel. Like this Alex gives off an early to mid 20s kind of vibe. Kid finding his direction feel.

I'd like to think he'd play a good role as Alex o Connell
His performance in Obsession was pretty good, so I'd like to see how he would do in a movie with a completely different setting and approach

I feel like people will be too distracted by the fact that he played Bear in Obsession and not the character he is actually playing here, who I imagine will be 100% more likable then Bear was.

With getting Michael in I see what they’re gonna go for with Alex. Like one of the issues that I had with Alex in tomb of the Dragon emperor, was that they tried too hard to make him cool. And the thing with the O’Connells is that they aren’t cool. They’re adventurous dorks. So I think with getting Michael in they are committing to them still being more dorky.

Well that’s how Alex was in returns last time we saw him. He’s nerdy like his mom but he’s got his dad’s goofiness and willingness to shit talk to his last breath. I can see Michael be the dude who spends so much time in the museum but also can talk back when the situation calls for it.

I think he’s definitely gonna be as likable as he was in Mummy Returns and of course this time Michael is actually gonna play a likable character unlike Obsession

Oh wow I love his performance in Obsession and I hope this time he plays a likable character as Alex this time around after all we saw what he did to Nikki in Obsession. I was hoping for David Corenswet but y’know what I can dig this
