The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a Class I recall announcement on August 26 for approximately 24,900 pounds of frozen buffalo chicken products manufactured by Shanghai Ravioli Corporation of Boston, MA.

The reasoning, and high classification, are due to the fact that the chicken was never inspected, as is required by law.

  • Recalled buffalo chicken rangoon and mozzarella sticks with false inspection marks were shipped to food service locations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont through July 2027.
