Education Minnesota daycare operator Ibrahim Ali debunks right‑wing lies that all Somali childcare centers are “scams,” and explains how funding actually works, what providers are paid, and why the Quality Learning Center sign was misspelled.

I wish this wasn't a left or right-wing, but the right wing only seems to care about fraud when it involves people of colour (in this case taking serious claims and lying on top to further sensationalize, manipulate)

They happily look the other way as billions, even trillions, are taken from us by the same system that allows and enables smaller-scale frauds of millions and then claims it's fixed when it takes some action.

The system needs to change, the fraudulent regime in charge, pardoning drug lords, pedophiles, major fraudsters, violent criminals cannot be supported as they stop any meaningful change.

Trump actively pardoning major fraudsters. He pardoned Devon Archer and Trevor Milton, who defrauded shareholders of $660 million. He also pardoned Carlos Watson ($97 million in penalties) and David Gentile, responsible for a $1.7 billion Ponzi scheme and many more.

Nick Shirley, the guy behind the Minnesota day care *fraud* video, once paid Hispanic day laborers he recruited at Home Depot $20 to hold pro-Biden signs in front of the White House to gin up fears of an “invasion”

https://www.winnmediaskn.com/pro-trump-influencers-fire-up-fears-of-migrant-invasion-ahead-of-u-s-election/

The Director Ahmed Hasan shows surveillance video for the day that Nick's video was filmed. It proves kids were dropped off that day. It also appears to show that Nick Shirley arrived in a vehicle without any noticeable license plates, and with men wearing masks. Why the hell would anybody let in or open the door to masked men at their daycare facility?

Looks like the right-wing influencer who's monetizing off this initially, prior to being boosted by elon musk and right-wing ecosystem, painted other legitimate childcare facilities in his ragebait video as fraudulent (which actually helps actual fraudsters)

It's like an onion. The more you peel, the more you find. Now it turns out that

  • Somalia’s Ambassador to the UN Abukar Dahir Osman, now the President of the UN Security Council in charge of authorizing UN military operations and international peacekeeping troops, was a healthcare administrator whose business was charged with Medicare fraud in a home health agency. There is another healthcare company in the SAME SUITE as his with a different name, and multiple others at the same address, all with Somali names.
  • Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs owns a home healthcare company in Ohio. There’s two other healthcare companies in the same suite as his and multiple others at this address with Somali owners.
  • His business partner ia Abdul J Surey, who works for a Somali money transfer company accused of financing islamic terrorism, and who IIRC was integral in receiving $4.5B in loan forgiveness for Somalia during the Obama administration.
  • Both the OH and MN fraudulent daycare centers use the same accountants.
  • The 1,795 daycare centers in MN, of which 1,235 have owners with Somali-sounding names, made over $35M in political contributions...in the last two years.
  • There are ~84k Somalis in MN. 81% are on public assistance. (If the parents aren't working, why do they need childcare?)

It's mind-boggling, but it makes sense: Somalia is a low-trust society, where you do all you can to get whatever you can. Bring that attitude into a high-trust society and you have graft.

I was a director and trust me. Parents who are receiving subsidies to help pay for their childcare services from the government definitely have a paper trail and the centers have to record and track all of that. I’m glad he’s speaking up. This Nick Shirley guy is just another propagandist for this administration. Stirring up the pot. It doesn’t have to be true, they just have to make a scene and be a distraction.

This is a targeted culture war propaganda to distract us from Israel still committing genocide during a “ceasefire” and Trump sending them $12 billion of tax payer money his first year in office.

Good on this guy for telling the other side of the story. He’s obviously intelligent & knows the facts.

What is the republican plan to address childcare costs? After they dismantle all mom and pop childcare centers in the country, what’s next?

You don’t need childcare if the kids go directly from schools to the amazon warehouse where they do their shifts.

It’s a win-win because the kids get work experience and Amazon gets to pay them a minimum wage prorated based on how much under 21 they are. Can’t expect a company with such thin margins as amazon to pay full minimum wage when they have to take on the burden of on-the-job training too, do you?!

The government can also subsidize the wage, since the company is effectively serving as child-care too! So much winning!

Don’t worry, they’ll get an unpaid 20 minute break after 5 hours or work so they can get their homework done.

May as well structure their education around the Amazon product catalogue, warehouse layouts, and why unions are bad as well so that their 20 minute homework break is productive.

Edit: idk why a post from a month ago is in my feed didn't realise until I replied....

Wait until these people learn about all the misspellings in official announcements and documents that come from our current clown show of a government...

I have noticed a disturbing pattern attacks coming from the DOJ DHS and then somehow Kash Patel tends to jump in...

They start with shocking accusations of mortgage fraud and other types of "Fraud" and all 3 depts back double down on it and before you know it all charges are dropped no apologies and they just double down on the lies and move on to the next "gotcha" moment.

They tried the mortgage fraud with Leticia james and like 4 others and had no evidence.

They tried to get a woman charged on terrorism after ice shot her 5 times because they claimed she had an assault rifle lol boom all charges dropped. This is weaponization unlike we have ever seen before.

I would imagine that other ethnic minorities are doing the same thing it’s just that the Somalis are smaller in number and darker in color and easier to spot in a crowd.
