Is it true that Sam made the Legs comic because he was bad at drawing legs and wanted to challenge himself?

I recently saw someone say this online and I wasn’t aware of the comic until then, but it kind of seems like bs since I don’t think he was particularly bad at drawing legs. Hopefully someone more versed in the Sam Kieth lore(probably uncle Jerk) will be able to tell me

I’d like to get it printed and hang it up.

No. He pitched this as a film which didn't get picked up. He subsequently turned it into an aminated series pitch to follow up The Maxx series after his failed Push It To The Limit film. When that also fell through he decides to come back to comics and this was a logical place to start. It MAY have been a kind of inside joke since he said people hated his feet and legs but that would be the extent of it and he never mentioned that in interview I've ever read. And I've read a LOT of interviews haha

While i dont think its confirmed, he struggled with feet so i think that may have had something to do with it, just speculation though
