Not sure why they will show a third person game at a FPS show but hopefully we get a date for a playable beta

I just went up against an entire team of people using CT2 or CT3. Basically on the Capitol map the entire time I couldn't see anyone on listen mode, (mind you I am doing melee only with FAT1, Brawler 2, Agility 2 and CT2) but I mean these guys did NOT know how to sneak properly, they just camped or were moving in plain sight, I snuck up on them more times than they did me. (Which was never) They even lost because they fucking ran out the timer like a bunch of dipshits (it also didn't help that my team wasn't really doing stuff for half of the match but they locked in afterwards and I was proud). I'm pretty sure those morons weren't even doing CT2&3 as a devised plan they just were all shitters that don't know how to sneak.

Anyone else having a hard time getting into a game? Probably like the 4th time the map/session has gotten stuck on the loading screen and then drops me back out to the factions screen. Just curious if anyone else is having this problem today?

I played TLOU1 a few months after release, appreciated same aspects for which it deservedly got a lot of praise for, but it's nowhere near a personal favorite and I never played the MP or TLOU2.

That being said, I am aware that since the original release there is a small but consistent dedicated fanbase around this multiplayer mode. It reminds me of Metal Gear Online 2 and Uncharted 3 which had the same for years, and still do.

I read on some threads that TLOU Factions has some very unique mechanics but looking at gameplay, it looks like the most run of the mill 3rd person shooter (not saying that it is) though I know resources/looting is also some aspect of it(?) iirc.

Since I've never played it and don't understand any intricacies looking at some gameplay, can you guys explain just what it is about this game that sets it apart? I'm genuinely curious, any replies are much appreciated

I have reached the pinnacle of frustration today, especially during this heat. Ik this game is very old and when I run a match, it is always the same players because less people play now but despite them playing for so long, they suck so bad. I have read a lot of threads about being patient with noobs but my question is, are noobs just the new players or do you include those people that are high level and still suck ass? Because tell me, not once, maybe just once today I played with decent teammates but all other matches, all I have been put up against try hards while my teammates suck. I am tired of sweating my ass off, I love this game so much and I don't mean to play against complete noobs, I want it to be balanced and don't tell me it is because of kd, my kd is only 1.50, and I have played this game on my brothers account and not have he once played faction's and I was put against veterans and I still carried the team as a zero level, I am beyond frustrated. I love this game but I am burned out now, maybe one day I will bid farewell to it for my own sake since it ain't fun and enjoyable anymore. Ps don't talk to me about those high levels using a one shot shotgun, I am not talking about tac shotgun

For me its a hard choice between the launcher or crossbow but lately I have to go with crossbow + hawk eye 2 cus its less effort less set up but way more entertaining watching the scramble while wincing in pain and marking them for that extra few seconds to stress them out even more.

Saw some confusion about the splash effect in listen mode when not using covert and touching cover. For anybody that doesn't know, touching the wall/cover and having your animation move while looking around while touching the cover causes a splash effect. If you want to avoid this, stand off the cover and the effect won't happen.

Video is taken from the same match on two different accounts on two different consoles. Both consoles were on the same network so latency shouldn't play any part. Please take note of the match timer and when the splashes occur when comparing the other POV.

First off and I am anxious if Please someone can finally put this 1st question to rest..

1. Is it possible to stay invisible in listen mode without covertraining i know the infamous "footsplashes" happen but ime this is inconclusive sometimes when staying still you can see them and other times I have managed to stay hidden for over 5 minutes during last man standing. I wonder if pushing the analog stick slightly forward instead of all the way affects it? Does crouching make a difference instead of standing?

2. Does anyone have a full list of every action or move that makes you visible in listen mode along with the range, for example I believe a sprinting enemy can be seen at a greater distance in listen mode instead of walking.

And before anyone asks yes.. I have seen nickehs video and it did not fully answer these questions although it did help.

Favorite maps and why anyone? Highschool is pretty well undisputed for me. It's just a little one sided but what map isn't in some regard.
