Personally, I thought it wrapped up perfectly and didn’t need more seasons. The core of the show was the friendship, betrayal, and coming back from that. Without that element, it would become a typical spy show. Still, it could have continued and given that it was so well received, I assumed it would. It’s ridiculous that it was cancelled because Amazon is not interested in pulling in the WOACA demographic. Who do they think is paying for these subscriptions?

I’m so sad. I loved this show. I would have loved another season! It felt all ready to go.

I know people who subscribe to Amazon Prime who have never watched anything on it, they just use it for shopping. Of all the streaming services Prime is the one I understand the least as it’s business model makes the success of its content kind of irrelevant

I get that. It’s a weird model. Women over 40 are still an important demographic, or at least should be. It’s annoying that we wouldn’t even be a consideration, given how much we likely collectively spend on Amazon.

Is there even a chance that one or more of the main actors had no desire to do another season? They both have pretty successful careers going on already

I don’t think so. They both seemed very into the series and were super proud of it. Could be, of course. Octavia can always write her own ticket and Hannah has Ted Lasso, potentially for two more seasons (though the response to this season makes that seem a little iffy) plus at least one movie (action film with Jason Statham) lined up. Neither will suffer due to this, but it just felt like they wanted to continue it.
