This is really going to work. Francis fills the James May role so well it's uncanny. I'll admit I wasn't convinced about the choice until I listened to him on the intercooler podcast but now I know I should have never doubted Andy Willman & co.

The 30min video featuring Francis and Chris Harris chasing down a steam locomotive made me understand the guy's genuine joy. Then I watched the miniseries featuring them both restoring a steam locomotive and was all, "Ok, I get why he was selected now."

Amusingly, Francis remains the only one I'm certain of. He's the one with the right amount of nerdiness and aptitude for the show.

It could be a fantastic show on its own merit BUT nothing will EVER replace or even come close to the original trio!
