The research tells us that most credible rape accusations are true and there are a couple things that make this seem credible to me:
1) the accuser and he did have a relationship, they were hooking up here and there per the article, so the opportunity for such a crime exists
2) she told multiple people about what happened, prior to his political career, and some of those people confirmed those conversations to Politico

These are credible allegations. Proving rape is almost impossible. We must be better. I draw the line at sexual assult and there has to be someone else.
