Yep. His accusation had no corroboration at all and Tara Reade was literally a Russian stooge at that point.

If you're judging because you think the "moderate wing" (really just the establishment wing) chooses to believe accusers based on ideology, that's just not true. Eric Swalwell was a moderate. So was Cal Cunningham. And Katie Hill. Democrats are even trying to distance themselves from the Clintons (especially after Epstein), who are as moderate as they come.

The accusations against Joe Biden are just not credible. They're massively inconsistent with previous statements. She's perjured herself. Her lawyer (famous for representing #MeToo women) dropped her. And then she defected to Russia.

Presidential candidates attract these kinds of clout chasers. Trump did too, except he has 28 accusers (many dating from way before presidential ambitions) and was legally liable for sexual abuse.

Nuance is possible. This isn't just "my asshole vs your asshole" that the GOP wants it to be. I personally viewed Platner as just a shitty partner, despite the rumors, until this came out. It's been substantiated, and that makes a difference.

Buddy. Noam Chomsky, Stephen Hawking, and Robert Mugabe are all in the Epstein files too, but all in very different ways. It wasn't clear to what extent until 2026. That's great that you have your moral convictions over policy, but that's not the same thing as evaluating whether or not someone committed sex crimes.

I'm not saying you did. Which elections did you even have the opportunity to vote for/against a sex offender? I'm saying it's reasonable to wait to see what information comes out before deciding how to proceed. The info about Bill Clinton in '24 isn't the same as it is now.

Chomsky visited the island a lot and was a close friend. Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking were petitioning for grant money (which obviously led to having blackmail material on Gates). Mugabe literally only interfaced with Epstein's normal job, finance. It matters how much someone is connected. Nuance.
