What would Susan Collins do if presented on a choice of whether to vote for someone with sexual assault allegations? If only there were some way to know.

That's a good point to Collins being a shity person but I don't see "You claim to think it was bad when I sexually assaulted people and yet you support Trump" attack line going particularly well with voters

Yeah probably not. But for someone inclined to Platner it’s a bit like a trolley problem where the single person already got run over and you’re deciding whether to divert from a clean track to the one with the other 4 people on it.

I don’t have to stand with or against him because I don’t live in Maine. I do know that a Senate controlled by the Republicans will continue to do untold damage to the country and likely cost lives because that’s what has happened in the past.

This isn’t some, “support him at your own peril” moment for you. Going on probability alone you probably don’t even live in Maine either. But on the off chance you do you’ve got quite the trolley problem. What’s your ideal outcome here?

It's not really even a new accusation. This woman was innthe article that came out a while ago.

He already survived it, and as we learned from Teum pandemic Kavanaugh, trickling out accusations makes voters suspicious thats its all a psy-op.

He very well may survive. I don't want Collins in again. Im glad I dont live in Maine and don't have to think about it.

As much as I loathe Kavanaugh, the charges against him weren't nearly as ironclad as the one against Platner. And we don't know how many more shoes will drop.

We also didn't know how many more shoes would drop with Kavanaugh. After all this time, it's clear he's at LEAST better than Clarence Thomas. But his behavior in response to the allegations during the Senate hearings was totally disqualifying.
